Course plan

The process of innovation from the idea to the market can be done generally in some important steps as follow:

  1. Ideation: which means the development of Innovative Ideas and Concepts
  2. Product Design: including Creative Design, Prototyping, and Testing
  3. Law: Legal Aspects of IP and Entrepreneurship
  4. Customer discovery: Business Modeling and Customer Validation
  5. Finance: Financial Management and New Venture Financing
  6. Commercialization: Market Development and Commercialization

So, during this course we will discover all these aspects in the first module. However, these concepts will be introduced in a different order to make it easier to understand and memorize.

Then, starting from the second module, all lessons will focus on ideation since it’s the most important point in the whole process. So, until the fourth module different methods will be used to develop this capacity, and thus lessons will focus on some of the most important new concepts, trends of inventions and most popular inventions.

Also, it should be noted that there are five days between each two lessons (a lesson become available five days after completing the previous lesson). This period allow you go deeper in each concept, either by performing personal research on subjects that may be of interest, by practicing some tools, or at least by reading details that can be found online in the provided links for each lesson. This is important because the success of this course rely also on your own efforts during the entire process.

Finally, the last module should be validated by the development of an innovation which is of course the period where all learned assets can be applied and demonstrated.
